We have a range of Full Time and Part Time opportunities for Diploma and Certificate III Educators available at our Hurstbridge service on an ongoing basis.

Hurstbridge Children's Centre is a lovely, welcoming childcare centre housed within Hurstbridge's new state-of-the-art community centre. We deliver high quality and inclusive early education and care for children aged three months to five years.

As a Certificate III or Diploma Educator you will:

  • Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximisesopportunities for them to develop to their full potential 
  • Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
  • Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation and positive behaviourguidance strategies and will provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning 
  • Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
  • Be working 38 hours per week, plus an additional 2 hours to allow for a monthly RDO for full-time positions. The hours of work will extend between 6.45 am and 6.45pm
  • Be working 24 hours per week, over 3 days for part-time positions. The hours of work will extend between 6.45am and 6.45pm

To be considered you will have:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
  • Experience working as an Assistant or Diploma Educator in a long day care service
  • Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
  • Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
