At ECMS, we have been providing high quality and inclusive early learning and care for Melbourne children, families and communities for more than 22 years. Our almost 70 kindergartens and childcare centres now touch the lives of 6500 children across Melbourne each week. 

Newport Gardens Early Years Centre is an architecturally designed early years hub conveniently located next to Newport Gardens Primary School. We deliver high quality and inclusive kindergarten and childcare for children from birth to five.


As a Centre Administrator you will:

  • Be responsible for providing administration and reception duties, with a focus on building external stakeholders relationships
  • Maintain administrative and electronic data management systems that contribute to the effective operation and management of the centre
  • Manage and oversee the centre's reception area to greet all visitors and assist with enquiries providing a high level of customer service at all times
  • Work closely with the Centre Manager and Leadership team
  • Be working part-time 25 hoursper week Monday-Friday

 As the first point of contact for the service, you will be central to creating key relationships with our families and the local community.

This is a maternity leave position commencing on 14 October 2019 and concluding on 27 October 2020. To be considered you will have:

  • A strong Customer Service background and ability to develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willing to obtain
  • Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate, or willing to obtain
  • Early Childhood Qualification is desirable
