We at Early Childhood Management Services (ECMS) have been providing high quality and inclusive early learning and care for Melbourne children, families and communities for more than 20 years. Our almost 70 kindergartens and childcare centres now touch the lives of 6500 children each week.

We are now seeking a passionate Recruitment Officer, to join our People and Capability team. This is an opportunity for a motivated professional to apply best practice recruitment principles in a supportive environment.

As a Recruitment Officer you will:

  • Be responsible for end to end recruitment processes for a range of sites including job advertising, short listing, phone screening, conducting interviews, reference checking, delivering offers and making regret calls
  • Be customer focussed and able to work collaboratively with managers to attract best talent and coordinate their onboarding experience
  • Have excellent writing skills for the preparation of advertisements and position descriptions
  • Be Highly organised with attention for detail in preparing and managing employment contracts and new starter documentation, including maintaining documentation
  • Be skilled in technology including Microsoft Office and recruitment management systems

To be considered you will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or previous experience in high volume recruitment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the early learning sector would also be viewed favourably.
