As an Early Years Manager of funded kindergarten programs, ECMS has opportunities available for additional educators to work within existing, high-quality teams in line with our School Readiness Funding (SRF) initiatives.

SRF is government funded, designed to give all Victorian children an equal chance to develop their confidence, resilience and readiness. Funding is targeted at building educator capacity to meet the access and inclusion, communication and wellbeing needs of children in the year prior to school. Once funding is approved, ECMS will provide extra educational support within our Cardinia Shire services, an exciting opportunity for a Certificate III or Diploma Educator.

Position 1: Certificate III educator opportunity at Koo Wee Rup Preschool. This role is working Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8.45am – 3.45pm on a fixed term basis until 27th December 2024

Position 2: Diploma educator opportunity at Pakenham Springs Children's Centre. This role is working Thursdays between 9am – 2pm on a fixed term basis until 24th June 2024

You will:

Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential

Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community

Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation and positive behaviour guidance strategies and will provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children’s learning

Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard

Working 11 hours a week on a Tuesday and Thursday in a multi-age program. This role commence on 22nd April 2024 until 13th December 2024

To be considered you will have:

A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification

Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
