We are seeking an enthusiastic Diploma Educator and Certificate III Educator to join our team at Alamanda Kindergarten. Our modern, purpose-built kindergarten is located alongside Alamanda College in Point Cook. Join our team of nurturing and experienced educators who deliver high quality and inclusive three and four-year-old kindergarten programs that help each child realise their potential. 

Diploma Educator: This is a part-time position working 20.5 hours a week on a Monday 9-5:15pm, Wednesday 10:45 - 5.15pm and Friday 11:30am - 5:15pm in a 4YO group. This is an ongoing role. 

Certificate III Educator: This is a part-time position working 18.75 hours a week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:00am - 5:15pm in a 4YO group. This is an ongoing role. 

What will you do? 

• Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential 
• Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community 
• Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation  
• Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning 
• Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis  

What you will bring: 

• A Diploma adn Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification 
• Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard 
• Experience working as an Assistant Educator in a long day care service – depending on the needs of the service this can be removed. 
• Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check 
• Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
