As a Facilities Maintenance Manager you will contribute to the success of this vision.

Your new role

ECMS has recently grown in the number of services, employees and children we support and we are excited to announce that as a result we have a new Facilities Maintenance Manager position.

You will lead the coordination, implementation and stakeholder management of facilities maintenance, asset management, building projects and procurement.

This leadership, development and implementation role involves providing oversight to the ‘Business as usual’ functions of planned and reactive facilities maintenance (provided by a third-party provider), as well as asset and contractor management and refurbishment projects.   

This is a full-time position, based out of our head office in Northcote but working in a hybrid model.

You will report to the Director of Corporate Services and work alongside a supportive and well-resourced team of professionals. You will have one direct report, Facilities Maintenance Administrator, there to support you as needed.

About you

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the facilities and maintenance field, alongside a basic understanding of technical aspects of risk management and work health and safety obligations.

Communication, building connections and long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders comes naturally to you. You thrive under pressure and have a critically thinking mindset, assisting you to multi-task daily to support our 60 services.

Day to day you will

  • Oversee and manage systems and activities relating to planned, preventative and reactive facilities maintenance across all ECMS sites
  • Work collaboratively with the local council to conduct asset management activity and provide oversight to all contractors that enter our services
  • Manage the construction of key building works
