We are looking to add an additional person to our awesome People Team! As a passionate Recruitment and Employee Experience Advisor, you will help drive recruitment within our Early Learning and Care Centres and Kindergartens. In this position you will deliver much more than just recruitment, you will provide a great candidate experience, support existing staff, have an opportunity to get involved with key projects and much more! You will work in a stretching yet supportive environment and aim to provide the best possible educators to children and their communities. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic and excited to grow their career within a progressive not-for-profit organisation.

This is an ongoing role working 38 hours a week in a hybrid environment, our office is located in Northcote!

What will you do?

  • Be responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes for our services (Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres)
  • Be customer focussed and able to work collaboratively with managers to attract the best talent and ensure a positive onboarding experience
  • Have excellent communication skills for the preparation of advertisements and position descriptions
  • Be highly organised with attention for detail in preparing and managing employment contracts and new starter documentation, including maintaining compliance documentation
  • Bring a natural orientation for continuous improvement through better use of technology

More about you!

  • You’ll bring critical thinking, transferable skills and perspectives from either your studies or practical experience; HR experience is not a pre-requisite but valuing the potential of great people is absolutely necessary
  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer service-oriented role
  • Experience managing high volume work with multiple deliverables
  • A keen problem solver and team player. Takes initiative and supports stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Advanced organisational skills with a strong eye for attention of detail
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Knowledge of employee rights, legislative obligations and developments in People/HR policies would be an advantage
